This page explains what personal data KWI collects when you read our site, sign in or subscribe, why, how long we keep it, who handles it for us, how we protect it and how you can use your rights. It follows the headings Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act asks a privacy policy to cover.

We do not see or store your card details, and we do not collect government ID numbers. Payment is handled by Polar Software, Inc. and its payment processor. The service is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

3. How we destroy data3. 파기 방법
Electronic records are deleted from our databases and file storage when the retention period ends or when you ask us to delete them. Backups roll off on the schedule above, so a deletion reaches every copy within 30 days. We keep no paper records. Records the law requires us to keep, such as payment records, are kept for that period only and then deleted.

Some providers process data outside South Korea. Our own servers run in Seoul.

6. Your rights and how to use them6. 이용자의 권리와 행사 방법
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to have us stop processing it, or to withdraw consent, by writing to insights@koreawindintel.com. We reply within 10 days, and we may need to confirm that the request comes from the owner of the email address. Deleting your account does not remove records we must keep by law, such as payment records. Data held by Polar and Stripe is also governed by their own policies, and you can ask them directly. If you decline to give us an email address you cannot sign in or subscribe.
insights@koreawindintel.com로 연락해 데이터의 열람·정정·삭제, 처리 정지, 동의 철회를 요청할 수 있습니다. 10일 안에 회신하며, 요청이 이메일 주소의 소유자에게서 온 것인지 확인해야 할 수 있습니다. 계정을 삭제해도 결제 기록처럼 법에 따라 보관해야 하는 기록은 삭제되지 않습니다. Polar와 Stripe가 가진 데이터에는 두 회사의 정책도 적용되며 이용자가 직접 문의할 수도 있습니다. 이메일 주소를 제공하지 않으시면 로그인하거나 구독할 수 없습니다.
7. How we protect data7. 보호 조치
- Only the operator of KWI has access to our servers and records. The web server’s administration port is reachable only through a Google-authenticated tunnel, not from the open internet.KWI 운영자만 서버와 기록에 접근할 수 있습니다. 웹 서버의 관리용 포트는 공개 인터넷이 아니라 Google 인증을 거친 터널로만 접속됩니다.
- The site is served over HTTPS. Sign-in sessions use random identifiers that are stored on the server and expire after 14 days.사이트는 HTTPS로 제공됩니다. 로그인 세션은 서버에 저장된 무작위 식별자를 쓰며 14일 뒤 만료됩니다.

Signing in on koreawindintel.com and on projects.koreawindintel.com uses cookies that are needed for the service to work. We do not use advertising cookies. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, but then you cannot stay signed in.
