Taean County Ordinance on Systematic Development and Support for Offshore Wind Power Generation Complexes

The County Mayor of Taean County shall formulate and implement a comprehensive offshore wind power management plan every 5 years and shall establish the Taean County Offshore Wind Power Generation Public-Private Consultative Body. The Consultative Body is composed of not more than 20 members, chaired by the Deputy County Mayor, and in principle holds a regular meeting at least once per quarter.

The purpose of this Ordinance is to contribute to the promotion of the welfare of County residents by promoting the new energy and renewable energy industries through the systematic development of offshore wind power in accordance with international climate change countermeasures and the prevention of disorderly development of public waters, which are public resources of Taean County.
