National Heritage Impact Diagnosis
국가유산영향진단
Summary
PublicBefore completing its project plan, the implementer of a construction project must carry out a national heritage impact diagnosis under Article 9 (1) of the National Heritage Impact Diagnosis Act (in force 14 February 2025). Under Article 5 (1) 3 of its Enforcement Decree, this covers construction works of 30,000 square metres or more carried out in coastal areas under the Coastal Management Act, and the Act also covers works in areas where buried heritage exists. The developer's ground-surface survey article of the Buried Heritage Act was deleted, and that Act now gives the new Act priority for development projects.
