Jeollanam-do Ordinance on Support for Offshore Wind Industry Activation

Summary
PublicThe Governor of Jeollanam-do shall implement policies necessary to revitalize the offshore wind power industry, shall endeavor to secure the electric power system for the creation of offshore wind complexes, and shall establish the Jeollanam-do Offshore Wind Power Industry Public-Private Consultative Body of not more than 20 members, including two co-chairpersons. The Governor may enter into business agreements with the 16 coastal Sis/Guns of Jeollanam-do.

Purpose
Article 1The purpose of this Ordinance is to build an offshore wind power industry ecosystem and to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy, such as job creation through the revitalization of related industries, by prescribing matters necessary for the creation of offshore wind complexes for producing environmentally friendly renewable energy sources.
