Sinan County Ordinance on Promotion and Support for Offshore Wind Power Generation and Development

The Mayor of Sinan County may designate planned offshore wind power zones, including the area within 5 km of an area permitted for a wind measurement device. For a power generation complex in a planned zone exceeding 40 MW, the County Mayor shall apply for a cluster. A project implementer may delegate all affairs of compensation for fishery damage to the County Mayor and shall bear all expenses.

The purpose of this Ordinance is to contribute to the Government's Renewable Energy 3020 policy by prescribing matters necessary for comprehensively implementing offshore wind power policies that use wind, a resource of our County.
